In the summer of 2017, Michael was the Cobbler in Philip Glass's The Juniper Tree at Wolf Trap Opera. In 2018, he was a finalist in Houston Grand Opera's Concert of Arias, and in the summer of 2018, he joined the Apprentice Singer Program at Santa Fe Opera, where he covered the title role of Oppenheimer in a new production of Doctor Atomic, directed by the librettist Peter Sellars.  Michael made his LA Opera debut as Prince Arjuna in Satyagraha in October of 2018.
